We all know the type...
Spends hours at the computer, tweaking layouts, making that one minor adjustment to their grand design, sweating over minutiae, then finally, with a mad look in their eyes, they declare it finished! Then they start on slide 2...PowerPointers are those people who so immerse themselves into the process of creating slides and presentations, they lose sight of why they are making a presentation in the first place.
There are the PowerPointer completists, who think every bit of data needs to be shown on screen, no matter how many slides it takes.
Then there are the PowerPointer artists, who make the presentation dance and sing, and deliver about as much information on their topic as a TV commercial.
Of course we cannot forget about the program itself and all it's wondrous flavors. Though it sometimes it seems that it's bit like the PC Hatfields and the Mac-Coys when it comes to cross platform compatibilities.
And don't forget how you felt after creating that beautiful presentation, making use of all of PowerPoint's abilities, only to find out that the player for it was a bit like handing a DVD to a guy with a 16mm projector...
So this shop is for all of you PowerPointers out there, without whom the world would be a duller place and presentations would still be on 35mm slides, overhead projectors and flipcharts...
