Japanese Woodcuts - 18th-20th Century
The skill of the artists in the Japanese Woodcuts is one of the great forms of artistic expression. The subjects are varied- contemporary landscapes and figures. Many of the existing woodcuts are of actors, famous in the period, and scenes of contemporary life. The colors and vibrancy of these images ring true to this day. our clasic prints are from many sources and period. The photography collection extends from the earliest examples to early 20th Century.
