Released less than a month after the debut album Beauty in Apathy, Trash Truck is that album's lighter, slightly more electronics-based "cousin." While the former album is notably darker, Trash Truck is much more eclectic and diverse in its offerings. The 80s influenced track Ecstasy could easily find a home at a rave, and the crunchy Distorted Perception would fit in nicely at a hard rock concert. Sorrowfields, a contrast to both, is an electronic new age piece with some jazz influence. Like its preceding album this release is instrumental, but that does not lessen the music's strength.
