With Liberty and Fun for All! : EVERYBODY ELSE! : Magical Healing Butterflies!
When a friend of mine, Michele, got cancer, I tried to find ways to make her laugh because that's supposed to be good for the immune system. And then -- A MIRACLE! -- suddenly my imagination was flooded with flocks of costumed butterflies playing musical instruments and singing showtunes in high, tremulous voices! I began winging them toward Michele, from my home in Cincinnati to hers in Arizona, in all kinds of costumes and with a variety of fabulous acts. I always announced them via e-mail first, however, so that she wouldn't be scared when they surrounded her with their singing and playing and then fluttered her in the place where she was sick. She swears my Butterflies are what cured her. I'm sure she is right, even though she also had an operation and had doctors and stuff.
Since then, whenever I have a sick or depressed friend, I send the Butterflies! They are wildly individual, even though they travel in humongous flocks. I even know some of them by name. And now, if you have a sick friend, you don't have to rely only on e-mail descriptions of your particular butterfly hoards, and on the imagination of your friend! Now you can supplement the butterflies by sending your friend MECHANDISE! (Or if someone has sent you Butterflies, send them back a thank you gift!)
By the way, my friend Michele has since created a Gynecological Cancer site, and the ladies who participate in her services have fallen in love with the Magical Healing Butterflies! The Butterflies are now a worldwide healing phenomenon!
