Thórr and the Miðgarðr-Serpent
The tale of Thórr's fishing trip that resulted in his hooking the World Serpent (Miðgarðsormr) was a popular motif in Viking art. These products feature an original design based upon the style of the 12th cent. A.D. carvings on the Hylestad church in Norway.
